The actress gained acclaim for her role in the drama show Rectify along with the sci-fi drama Timeless. Her home is in Gulf Breeze, Florida. She began her acting career in the soap opera All My Children. The performance earned her a Soap Opera Digest Award' for Best Female Newcomer. Over the next few years she mostly played guest roles on a variety of TV programs. For instance, in the TV show Hawthorne, she was recognized for her role as Dr. Erin Jameson. The character gradually gained a audience thanks to her amazing look and incredible acting talents. In the year 2000, she made her first appearance in the film Campfire Stones. Jekyll This Means War & Chasing Mavericks were some of her other movies. For her part in Beautiful Now, she was nominated for the Madrid International Film Festival Award.
